What We Do.
Green Harvest Solutions is a for-hire contractor that compacts into bales anything from agricultural feed products, industrial waste and animal waste. We provide portable packaging to farmers, Fortune 500 companies and small businesses all through North America. The key to our process is our mobility and quick service model which makes us able to handle long-term work as well as individual work without much infrastructure.

How We Do It
GHS has been working with businesses to better package and store their products for shipment and storage since 2019. Not only are we familiar with the needs of large companies, processors, and mid-scale operations, but we also started and have continued to work collaboratively with farmers to package and protect their animal feed, inventory and most recently, fertilizer. Over the years, we have operated six Orkel compactors, one Komel compactor, several semi-trucks and trailers, loaders, harvesters, and specialized harvest equipment. We are currently the largest Orkel compactor operator in North America.

Who We Are
GHS has assembled a team of key personnel consisting of GHS employees and consultants with specific expertise in agricultural bioproducts, farm operations, baling operations, and marketing and sales to assure your projects success no matter how big or small.
Ross Vehmeier
President since 2018, Ross has run the business, developing large scope baling projects, pricing, workflow, and financing. He has been directly involved in developing. Ross is responsible for high-level system design and training, human resource management, and equipment procurement. He is responsible for overall project management, including all financing and cash management as well.
Joe Green
VP Operations at GHS and has been a contributing partner since 2018.
Joe is experienced in field service management for major farm equipment manufacturers, management of budgets and workforce for fortune 500 companies, and ownership and operational responsibilities of a privately held manufacturing company. He participates in all aspects of GHS management and focuses on equipment acquisition, maintenance, and upgrades. Responsibilities also include process development, machine design development, risk management and mitigation, and billing.
